But I've never done it before...
The atmosphere at Lake Mary Dance Studio is extremely friendly and non-intimidating. Even the more advanced dancers at our social dances are happy to dance with newcomers.

I have two left feet... Nearly everybody who walks through our door the first time says that about themselves! And yet most of them end up not only succeeding, but excelling as ballroom dancers. Most of our Competition students had never danced a step before taking their first class at Lake Mary, less than 2 years prior. Next year it could be you! I have no partner... We will make sure there is someone to dance with you. Because ballroom dancing is based on a lead-and-follow principle, you will actually become a better dancer in a shorter period of time if you experience dancing with different partners.

Ok, so where do I start?
We recommend that you start with our introductory private lesson. We teach Private lessons 1-10 pm Monday through Friday for your Convenience. Your first lesson will focus on Basic Steps in some of the Popular dances, as well as tips on how to memorize them quickly. Once you've settled on the  dances you want to focus on, Your Instructor can chart a course for you based on your personal needs and aspirations.
